I am just one of you, a language learner

If you are an advanced or native speaker of English language you for sure have noticed that the English language is not my mother tongue. Yep, I am English language learner. My native language is Polish. I assess the level of my English as upper intermediate. It is still far from being perfect. Despite that I am the author of all texts on the website. So please be understanding.

If you find a mistake in my English or my writing seems incomprehensible to you please feel free to let me know. I am aware of my imperfection and the imperfection of this situation, I mean, me as an English writer. I appreciate any correction of my ‘pidgin’ English.

By letting me know about the mistakes, you make the website more valuable for the less advanced English readers. Drop me a line. Feel free to utilize any of the comment forms, the contact form or directly use the e-mail address: hello@babelvillage.com.

Thank you. Greg

You are an amazing person, I like the fact that you are so humble! and I have to admit I like the mood on your website, it is so cozy, thanks!

Hello, Greg, and congratulations on your superb website. Please do not forget the 'k' on your homepage message: no trics. At 67, I'm probably the oldest member yet, but I hope this won't be a problem. With kind regards. Terry

Hi Terry, thank you for pointing out the typo.

As for your age.

For me as a language exchange practitioner it's not a problem at all. I had a long term language exchange partnership with a guy at your age. We had been meeting regularly for a couple of months. Only my lack of time, at some point, had finished the partnership.

For me as a founder of the website, it's not a problem also. I'm truly happy the community is becoming a mixed-age group. So, I hope most of the members have the same approach towards an age difference between language exchange partners as me. It's not a crucial issue. :) Greg

Thank you Greg. You are so friendly and talented.
Your web site is a source of help for language learners. I suggest that you develop the cultural dimension of this original project by inciting people to invite each other to their countries. Being familiar with other cultures and traditions enables everyone to gain easier access to the target language. As far as I am concerned, I am ready to invite serious people who want to learn the Arabic language and help me to be perfect at English.

You're welcome Hayfa.

The idea is interesting. Who knows, maybe in the future... I'm only not sure that 'inciting' is a good verb. ;)

As regards your 'readiness', you can always announce it in your Profile description.
Thank you.
